Closing the Loop on the Health and Wellbeing Network Pilot Project

2 August 2024

In 2021 the Tasmanian Government funded the Health and Wellbeing Network Pilot Project to improve health and wellbeing outcomes across three regions in Tasmania: the Central Coast, Dorset and the Huon Valley. This was and continues to be an ambitious and innovative Project that has evolved over the past three years and has seen anticipated and unanticipated positive outcomes across the state.

This report is for the communities and stakeholders who have worked alongside Health Consumers
Tasmania to bring the Health and Wellbeing Networks Project (HWN) to life. It aims to tell the story about how the Project has been rolled out and what steps were taken along the way. It also tells of who we heard from and what they had to say, as well as how community members felt about the different stages. It aims to reflect the most important voices, through utilising evaluation approaches where people have been able to reflect on what is most important to them; to hear in some detail about what “people on the ground” felt have been the most significant impacts of the Project to date.
