How easy is it for you to access health services and health information?

24 June 2024

A research team from the University of Tasmania is reviewing the Tasmanian Government’s Tasmanian ‘Health Literacy Action Plan 2019-2024’ (Action Plan) to see how well it is working and inform the next Action Plan.

The Action Plan aims to support people and communities to understand and get health information so they can confidently make decisions about their health and wellbeing.

The research team has already collected information through a survey and interviewing community members.

Now we would like to discuss the information we have collected in a workshop with community members to discuss what’s working well, what improvements are needed and what needs to be included in the next Action Plan.

The workshop will be led by a member of the research team from the University of Tasmania.

We are planning to hold the workshop online on Wednesday 10 July at either 12noon or 6pm.
