The Better Health 4 Dorset Hub is a community-led health and wellbeing hub located in Scottsdale, bringing together a range of services, programs and community activities in one accessible location.
The Hub was established to make it easier for people in Dorset to find support, connect with services, and improve their health and wellbeing closer to home. By creating a shared space for health and wellbeing providers and local organisations, the Hub aims to strengthen local connections and help people access the information, services and opportunities they need.
The Hub provides a space for a variety of organisations and activities. At the heart of the Hub is a commitment to community leadership. The Hub is designed to support local people, organisations and groups to work together, identify local priorities and create practical solutions that improve health and wellbeing outcomes across the region.

What You’ll Find at the Hub
A key part of the Hubs work is to find out where there are gaps in services available locally and advocate to have better access in the region.
Community-Led, Collaborative and Inclusive
The Better Health 4 Dorset Hub is coordinated by Health Consumers Tasmania and operates as a shared community space. Services delivered from the Hub remain the responsibility of the individual organisations providing them, while the Hub works to foster collaboration, improve access and strengthen connections across the community. While the Better Health 4 Dorset Hub is operated by Health Consumers Tasmania, we work closely with Better Health 4 Dorset Inc. to ensure that the Hub is operating in ways that best meets community need.
