March 2021. Health Consumers Tasmania believes that to help solve this problem our communities need “Health Connectors”. People who live and work in local communities that are employed to help spread the word about what health services are available, and make sure patients, carers, and health and community services are connected. We have been highlighting this issue to policymakers through our recent submissions to the Upper House Rural Health inquiry and our 2021-22 Budget Submission.
