During a recent community event facilitated by Learn to Nourish, the Huon Valley Voice for Health learned about the valuable work Cygnet Uniting Church was doing in distributing food donations to people in need. HVVH decided to provide the Church with a refridgerator, to prevent donations going to waste. This means the Church will be able to serve more of the community in need of food aid by keeping food fresher for longer, as well as supplying healthier food.

Kerryn and Allan from the church were thankful, saying “We wanted to again thank you and ask you to pass onto your committee our deepest gratitude for the provision of the refrigerator. This item will allow us to provide a fuller and better service to the people who come seeking our assistance with the provision of fresh food. Your support is very much appreciated.”
