Researchers from Griffith University are seeking older Australians living with cancer, and their caregivers, to take part in a study exploring experiences of cancer-related cognitive impairment, often described as changes in memory, concentration, thinking or mental clarity during or after cancer treatment.

The research aims to better understand how these changes affect daily life and identify the types of support that may help older adults manage the challenges associated with cancer-related cognitive impairment.
The findings will contribute to future supportive care and resources for older people affected by cancer.

Who can participate?
Researchers are looking for:

– People aged 60 years and older who have been diagnosed with cancer.
– Caregivers supporting an older person with cancer.

What is involved?
Participants are invited to complete an online survey which takes approximately 20 minutes.
At the end of the survey, participants can also indicate whether they would like to be contacted about taking part in an optional interview. Interviews will take approximately 30–60 minutes and can be completed either online or in person.

Remuneration
As a thank you for their time, participants will receive grocery vouchers.
