10 September 2026

Have you been involved in digital health initiatives, projects or system improvements in Tasmania or Nationally? This might include consumer participation in projects such as electronic medical record implementations, digital health strategy development, health information sharing initiatives, or other digital health reforms.
Health Consumers Tasmania (alongside Health Consumers Council of WA [HCCWA]) is seeking consumers and carers with experience or interest in digital health to join a National Consumer and Carer Digital Health Panel on behalf of Sparked. Sparked is a national partnership led by CSIRO that brings together consumers, clinicians, health services, technology providers, policymakers and others to develop national health data standards (more information here Participant Information – Sparked)
These standards support the safe and consistent sharing of health information across Australia’s healthcare system. The project wants consumer and carer perspectives to be a key part of this work. The Panel will provide opportunities for consumers and carers to contribute their knowledge and experience to discussions that help shape the future of digital health in Australia.
Commitment
Five half-day online workshops will be held between November 2026 and June 2027, with the possibility of one additional in-person session.
Payment
Panel members will be paid $418 per workshop. Payments are managed by HCCWA, with a straightforward and timely reimbursement process.
