We often hear from patients and families how difficult it can be to understand information about going to hospital for a procedure and a colonoscopy is one where there is a lot of information to understand!
The Tasmanian Department of Health is partnering with Health Consumers Tasmania (HCT) to understand patients’ experiences and work together to find ways to provide information that is easier for patients to access and understand.

HCT will be holding several workshops with consumers (patients) to better understand how people in Tasmania referred for a colonoscopy access and understand information provided to them and determine solutions that meet consumer needs.  Remuneration (via a pre-paid debit card) is available for workshop participants.  Places will be limited!
