Have Your Say on the NSQHS Standards (Third Edition)

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care is seeking feedback on the draft National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards (third edition).

The NSQHS Standards provide the framework for delivering safe, high-quality care across Australia’s health system. The third edition is being developed to reflect contemporary healthcare practices, emerging evidence, evolving models of care and current challenges facing the sector.

This consultation is an opportunity for consumers, carers, clinicians, health service staff and community organisations to contribute to the future of safety and quality in Australian health care. Feedback received will help inform the next edition of the Standards and support improvements in patient outcomes, clinical governance, cultural safety and integrated care.

There are a number of ways to get involved, including completing an online survey, providing a written submission or attending an information forum.
