Family members who support an older adult with medication management are invited to express their interest in participating in a Monash University research project.

The project aims to improve how families engage in managing medications during transitions of care. Participants will attend an educational workshop and receive information about two digital resources designed to support medication management. Researchers will measure participants’ openness to using these resources before and after the education session.

Date: August and September 2026

Duration: 1.5 hours (one session only)

Format: Facilitator-led online workshop via Zoom

Who can participate?

Researchers are seeking family members of older adults aged 65 years and over who have experience assisting with medications following a hospital visit.

What’s involved?

Participants will:

• Attend one online education workshop
• Complete two surveys
• Take part in an interview

Reimbursement

Eligible participants will receive a $50 Coles/Myer digital voucher in recognition of their time.
