Huon Valley Voice for Health
Huon Valley Voice for Health was formed to guide the implementation of the Huon Valley Health and Wellbeing Action Plan as part of the Tasmanian Government-funded Health and Wellbeing Network Project. The group worked to ensure that the priorities identified by the Huon Valley community through consultation were translated into action. It brought together local residents, community organisations, health and wellbeing services, businesses and other stakeholders to collaborate on initiatives designed to improve health and wellbeing outcomes across the region. While the Health and Wellbeing Network Project have now concluded, the relationships, partnerships and community-led initiatives that emerged through this work continue to support positive change in the Huon Valley.
