Tasman Voice for Health
The Tasman Voice for Health group was the first community based or ‘place-based’ health advocacy group that was formed by Health Consumers Tasmania. The development of the group came about after some work was occurring with Primary Health Tasmania, Tasmanian Health Service – South, local service providers and HCT, and has been instrumental in influencing and advocating for community and consumer perspectives in decisions around community health and wellbeing for the last 5 years.
The group has always been independent in its operation and in the direction it has taken, supported by Health Consumers Tasmania and has delivered on a number of key projects and outcomes over its time, including the development of the Tasman Connect website.
